Ugh...Oh to live like you do for a day, would that it were so simple...” 500 - 800: Another gust and the two walk closer together. The speaker responds in kind, almost exasperated that it took them this long to have this conversation. They hide under the boughs of a pine tree and snuggle with one another while talking about their plans for the future. All the while they share their affection, nervous at first but with increasing elation. The speaker then cuts things off, saying perhaps a different setting would be better for what she has in mind, noting the wind has calmed. 1600 - 1800: “I can’t believe we...no, maybe I can, I did have that Doc Marten phase while you were doing your whole gothic lolita thing, the signs were there. Maybe we should see optometrists? I bet you’d look cute in glasses~” 1800 - 2000: The speaker checks in if everything is okay, expressing a little anxiety before the listener cuts her off with a kiss. Feeling content like this for the first time they bask in each others’ presence as they return to their dorms.
